Abierto València 2026

ABIERTO VALENCIA 2026 will take place from September 17 to 25, with an intense program of exhibitions, a joint gallery opening, guided tours, talks, and various musical sessions and performances. Once again this year, we thank our sponsors and collaborators for their continued support of the galleries, the artists, and art itself, as this support is essential to strengthening and growing Valencia’s artistic ecosystem. Once again, the Generalitat Valenciana will award the “Best Exhibition” prize, and the Valencia City Council will recognize the “Best Artist,” both decided by a professional jury. In addition, private collectors will make art acquisitions during the days of the event. ABIERTO VALENCIA will host the 7th Cervezas Alhambra Prize, which recognizes the work of emerging artists and the efforts of their galleries. The prize will be decided through an online public vote and will be awarded at the event’s closing ceremony at the Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia, with the support of the Institut Valencià de Cultura. The Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero will open the doors of its “Abierto Valencia” room for free access throughout the week and will host a conversation with international curators. The ARCO Gallery Walks and the ART WALK VALENCIA routes, promoted by the City Council, will fill the streets with visitors at all venues throughout that week and the last week of September.

The galleries taking part in ABIERTO VALENCIA 2026 present a carefully curated selection of artists that reflect both established careers and the freshness of new contemporary work.
